Wintering on Vancouver Island ?? Silverfox,
I've already wrote you an Email thanking you for your informations.
Indeed, one the reasons that got us thinking of staying in Canada next
winter IS the very expensive medical insurance.
As for the freezing water, you got a point that I've never thought about.
In our past winters in south Texas, we've encoutered some 35-40 F at times
and that was no problem, water wise.
We might go back to Texas this year and reevaluate if it's still worth it
afterwards. Maybe spending winters in the south even in the most economical
way is too much for a Bell Canada retiree. We'll see.
Thanks
