Default Advantage of trailer vs motorhome vs trailer

We want to do a big trip from CA to the east coast. Aside from that we'll be
camping locally on the weekends. No toys, probably some city driving and
sightseeing. Plenty of driving.

I do not even know the sq ft of my motorhome, but could approximate it by
multiplying the length by the width. I'm not sure why it is important
though, as you really gotta SEE it to find out if your needs are met. I
think the cabinet and closet area and location, and the amount of
underneath storage are even more important than "square feet" enclosed.
When we looked at 5th wheel trailers, we were surprised at how much
overhead ceiling room many had in the salon. This did not seem like
useful area to us. We also preferred standup headroom in the bedroom.
These things do not appear on spec sheets. You gotta get out and LOOK...
