Default An observation(s) on the new trains

Some observations on the new trains.
OK they very pretty, BUT
The letter is back on top and its much smaller AND every line
letter/number is in RED, whats the point of having a color code system
if you're not going to use it on the trains themselfs?
On trains where the letter/number is larger one can see them from a
distance. On these units you can't, whats more its harder to read the
information on the sides of the cars. It was easier on the older trains
which used the same. Anyway I could never understand WHY they made the
letters smaller over the years in the first place.

That never bothers me, but then I guess I have pretty sharp eyes.

I can't stand the lighting in newer vehicles: intense, hospital-style
fluorescents. I know fluorescent bulbs are cheaper, but how about
toning it down a little bit?
