| | Guest | yesterday's PATH shutdown The 11:00 Channel 2 news last night said that with 33 St shut down,
trains were running from WTC to Hoboken and from JSQ to Hoboken. They
didn't mention WTC to Newark -- was that because it was normal, or
because it wasn't running at all?

Dunno, check MTA.info next time.

DOH! It should be reported there, since it is a subway.

So the news report was misleading. But hey, I expect that from Channel
2 News.

... and since it was a retrospective question. Even if it were the
right place to look, do they maintain information about past service
interruptions? | |

There are only 4 PATH lines. Two (33-JSQ and 33-HOB) were disrupted.
The news reports stated that WTC-HOB was operating. Why wouldn't it
also state that WTC-JSQ-NWK was operating? That would be useful
information for half the 33 passengers.

No, because none of those provides alternative serice to the area.
