Where would you put "the faithful" for this event? Memorial services
are no longer held on-site because it's all a construction site with
no place for assembly until after it's been finished and landscaped.

Yeah, they should make it easier for another pope to get shot.

No, I don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about.
More interesting: Howcome no one here has mentioned last week's
realignment of the PATH station egress and escalators, so it no longer
conects with the E train?

That's the least of the problems associated with the new alignment. It's
a hideous disaster, even if it's meant to be temporary.

Off peak, it's already hourly, and there's no way rush hour service is
going hourly. It's packed as it is.
Looking at the NJT newsletter on line, the only cuts mentioned are the
end of direct to Hoboken weekend service on the M&E and the Raritan Line.
Would you like to clarify this?

Why??? I haven't the slightest interest in either conspiracy theories
or Roman Catholic doings.

Is reading comprehension a more general Brooklyn problem? Have you
been taking "mr brklyn" lessons?
Is the W4 station "here," i.e. nyc.transit?

I tried to make several postings in several threads this morning, but
they haven't shown up (yet). Meanwhile, as I expected, the papal event
involved a few dozen people.
If there were vast crowds up at street level, the pool camera didn't
swivel around to show them.

Hordes of folk wanted to go, but PATH was shut down . . .
