Still where?

Nwe Jersey, though it may look small on a map of the US, still covers
quite a few square miles.

Some spoilsport asks that question every time the song is mentioned
here.

Oh? Where did you hear about an argument over square miles?

Good riddance.

The bargain for the transfer was entirely legitimate, but what were
they thinking??

(a) Show me pickpockets (show me anyone) at Grove St. -- there's
rarely anyone at the kiosk other than the newsstand guy.

(b) Show me pickpockets at WTC (well, maybe I won't be using that
station until the rebuilding is finished).

(c) Where would you suggest I keep it? I don't carry a purse.

Not opening the wallet didn't work.

But they won't get me there from Jersey City Heights.

For some inexplicable reason, the OP (David Chester) added the ne
group when he mentioned the Charlie Card in connection with his
question about the lifespan of a MetroCard. There has been no ne
content in this thread.

NYC probably has a better, more extensive public transportation system
than London. And the actual cost of driving certainly did drop because
of the congestion fee in London, thanks to the cost of gasoline being so
high there.

That, and we have the benefit of hindsight: except among a few rightwing
naysayers, London and Stockholm are regarded as pretty obvious successes.

What doesn't bode well is that suburbanites still have the power to stop
this from going through apparently.

Sheldon Silver isn't a suburbanite.

Well, I take that back. I _have_ seen BPC a few times.
