Do any other trains (other times) use multilevels on the M&E?

How long until the whole station is finished?

No. I actually saw that train whizz by me on Monday as I was headed in
the opposite direction. I've still yet to see this mystery set which is
said to run on the Montclair branch, but I have personally seen them in
operation on the North Jersey Coast Line.

Boy, is that the truth. The ex-Lackawanna lines need MU's, they're built
like subway lines.

Anyone know the status of these mythical Arrow IV's? Outside the
multilevels, NJT hasn't announced any firm plans to purchase more
rolling stock.

Looks like that was like Midtown Direct for the ex-Erie lines. IIRC, NJT
still has hopes of connecting those lines to Midtown via ARC.

I thought the Arrow III's were older than that.

The voltage change west of Lloyd occurred a few years ago and was done
because NJT was having some sort of problem with peak loads.
Originally, the Arrows could run to Long Branch.

If anyone has more details, please jump in here.

Better to have a feature and not need it than to not have it and need
it.

I would hope so. Jersey should pay for it's own transit.
