They will only need new boards at stations where 600' and 480' trains
stop at the same place. I can think of only 3 stations this happens at:
Pacific St northbound, 36th St. southbound and Bay Parkway both ways.
R32 C trains use the same marker boards that A trains do. It's not the
length of the train, it's the location of the conductor's position. Only
the R40/42 has the inability to place the conductor in the middle of an
8-car consist.
