This is not an "infrastructure" newsgroup. This is a _transit_
newsgroup. If you want to read discussions of NYC infrastructure, then
go to the newsgroups where they are on topic.

Linguist Peter Daniels: "Do as I say, not as I do."
Thus this post in NYC.Transit by PETEY the POOPY HEAD on July 4th at
noon:

Thank you for the information regarding the Floating Swimming Pool.
NY1 News just had a segment on the Brooklyn Pool.
According to Nydia Velasquez, you can take the subway to a certain stop,
and then take a free shuttle bus to the Floating Swimming Pool.
I didn't get the stop.
It's just like going to Jones Beach,
where you can take the LIRR and then a
shuttle bus to Jones Beach.
It is very kind of you to post interesting things to do in NYC,
whenever you get wind of them.
I consider you are doing a Public Service.

Did I introduce a thread about the cost of postage stamps? It came up
in the course of discussion of something relevant (at its start,
anyway). | |

What is an "official description," and how is a floating swimming pool
either "infrastructure" or "related to transportation," let alone
"infrastructure related to transportation"?
