I once had a cabbie try to charge me that much for the trip from EWR to
Newark Penn Station, explaining that the south terminal is in Elizabeth,
and he was crossing the city line! I took the bus (this was before the
monorail was built).

Even now that the monorail's been built, if you're going from Newark
Airport to Newark Penn, why wouldn't you still take the bus?
