Default Riverdale to Stamford, CT?

The number of New Haven trains which stop at Fordham has increased
substantially in the last few years. Almost all trains which begin or
end at Stamford now stop at Fordham.

But you can ride from other stations in New York State. I think there are
eight New Haven Line stations in NYS. All the trains are operated by Metro
North. I'm sure they do some kind of cost allocation for New York State and
Connecticut stations. They could just as easily do the same for Fordham if
they wanted to.

Complain to your elected officials. That's the only way you'd get
Metro North to consider changing this arbitrary and wasteful policy.

It's a Metro North policy and has nothing to do with the fact that CT
DOT provides funding for the New Haven operation. No Metro North train
is technically allowed to take on passengers at a NYC stop. That
includes Harlem line trains stopping at Fordham as well.

Is that both northbound and southbound?
