    Default Electronic fare collection v. tokens

    I know this applies to more than NYC, but what's the advantage of
    electronic fare. If I have a three tokens in my pocket, I know how
    many rides I have left.

    Instead, people figured out that you can get a free ride by folding a
    Metrocard in half before you swipe. Did they ever fix that bug?
