Where to Exchange Leftover NYC Subway Tokens for Metro Card?

I found some subway tokens that I bought in 2001 when I went to NYC for
PC Expo. Can I exchange these somewhere for a Metro Card?

Haven't they been being sold as souvenirs for under their last face
value for some time now? That would have removed whatever value they
had for paying a fare.
