Default Nissan Altima 2000 spark plugs. Is Bosch platinum 4 a good alternative?

    Hi

I need to change the spark plugs in my Altima 2000

After 1999, Nissan changed spark plugs in the Altima for (I think) NGK
iridium spark plugs. These spark plugs are quite costly to change. How
many miles can we drive the car before changing these spark plugs ? (heard
    60 000 miles)

Can I get the same fuel economy or performance with les costly NGK platinum
spark plugs if I change them after 20 000 miles ?

In my area, I can get BOSCH platinum 4 spark plugs for half the NGK iridium
sp price. Are they as good as stock NGK iridium s p in the Altima?

    Thanks

Nissans do not like Bosch plugs. Stick with the plugs specified in your
owners manual. That same book will also tell you the replacement interval.

I tried bosch in my 95 pickup. Ran like .....

    there are no good alternatives.

    Use the NGK plugs.

Bosch are cheap pieces of sh*t

I have solved more runability problems on Nissan's buy just removing Bosch
    plugs and installing NGK's

I heard they don't work on e30 BMW's, but I put them in my '95 Hardbody
    and they worked fine.

I've had the same set in my 97 PU for about 5 years and have had no
trouble, but I don't put many miles on it. Maybe 5k a year.
