2 things to say.

Great write up Dingus. Made me feel the road burns as though I was there.

And now matter what my attitude and temper does to me Jason, yer a bad-
climber. I bow to your skills.

Have you ever read John Long's account about the first ascent? Welder's
gloves wrapped in electrical tape.

Yeah, somebody mentioned that there are two bolts protecting the face.

The guy who posted the pic said, "I don't live in CA, my buddy and I were
out there on a climbing trip, we were rapping down after doing serpentine
and we noticed this awesome overhang, some "locals" called it the witches
nose. Nate Omsburg took the shot with a cheap APS cam, Jabbeaux put it up
for me. -- pattray"

So it wasn't to make the guy look good - it wasn't him... but it very well
could have been posed. I personally would rather fight a herd of alley cats
than squirm into 5.12c overhanging John Long offwidth weating little more
than underpants and a mocs.
