Everytime I see similar questions on this ng, all the males usually reply,
no problem.

But I tell you men don't understand the issues of traveling single women. I
would suggest the OP to ignore any advice that says, "When I traveled alone
in this country, I have no problem. I am a man. But I don't see how a
woman would be different."

Default is it save in Jordan?

I am at a loss to understand what PeterL (a man!) is trying to counter
with what I said.

I do not deny that women have problems in 'Arab' countries, though I did
not observe any when there.

And I _did_ ask under what circumstances this/these female person(s)
are travelling.

And as I said, if I were a woman, and wanted to go to Jordan, the little
(as I observed) disconfitures would not dissuade me.

It would be interested if PeterL (I presume a male) is more informed
than me . . . possible.

I am not more informed than you. What I am saying is that as a man,
neither you nor I are qualified to discuss this topics from our second hand
observations. Men simply don't know anything about single women traveling
alone in foreign countries. Since safety is extremely important, I
personally would not presume to offer any advice in this regard.
