Why do lorry drivers travl at 56mph on single carriageways?
They Know that the limit is 40.
At 56 this only leaves 4mph for overtaking - very dangerous.

The police should have a purge, this will allow the better road users
to drive smoothly and safely.

Remember, Laws are there for a reason.

The solution is simple. If a lorry is doing a true 56 mph which is probably
60 mph on a car speedo, don't bother overtaking. Get out of the "I must get
past this lorry at all costs and I am entitled to break the speed limit to
do it"

Indeed, is a reckless lorry driver is doing almost 50% over the limit, then
you dont want to be infront of him.

Everything above is the personal opinion of the author, and nothing to do
with where he works and all that lovely disclaimery stuff.
Posted in his lunch hour too.
