Default Almost a Report: Eastside Cannery

Mrs. Baf & I decided to go to the grand opening of the
Eastside Cannery. Armed with two American Casino
Guides, pages marked, indented and scored for easy
ripping, even had a players card received in the mail.

We decided to make our grand enterance about 8:30.
As we head south down Boulder Highway I noticed
about 10 gazillion red taillights in front of me three
lanes wide moving about as fast as a parade of
giant sloths and we haven't even reached Sams Town.

I said to Mrs. Baf we are never going to make it to
the buffet, but never mind we will park at the Longhorn,
use a 2/1 for dinner and walk across the street to
the Cannary. As we pulled closed to the Longhorn
crowds of people who had the same idea were
crossing the street. Bank of America at the same
corner has two drive up stand alone ATM's,
minus the bank. People were parked over there,
clogging the whole place up.

So we went home, mission unaccomplished
to enjoy left over lamb chops, t-bone steak
and a bottle of Snapple.

I knew there was something I was supposed to be doing last night... Well,
thanks for the "report"...

The best way to "thank" a bartender is to not stiff them.
The best way to stiff a bartender is simply say "thanks."

Now we'll never know if the slots are really "loose" on opening night.
