New Casino Openings - what to expect?

Hey so I've never been to a first night opening of a casino before. I
am of course referring to the Cannery East that is opening tonight on
Boulder Hwy by Sams Town at 8PM.

I figure it will be pretty crowded. Do these typically have some free
nicknack/chachkey? (sp) Now how about this "machines are looser"
notion? I could see kicking up the paytables on video poker a bit but
is there really a "magic button" that makes em win more? :-)

The payback is determined by the eprom and is sealed
in each machine. When a casino wants to change the
eprom, it has to be witnessed by the gaming commission,
and at least 7 people have to sign off.

Just because a machine has a higher payout, doesn't
guarantee it's going to payout for you and visa versa
with a low payout machine.

Like the old wives tale that they turn the machines
up at 7pm.
