Default Thanksgiving Vegas Club

Hi,

We have some friends coming in on Thanksgiving day and MSS is totally out of
line with their prices. Over $100 per night. The Vegas Club has rooms much
cheaper but I recall that one tower is better than the other. Which is the
better tower? North tower is $44 and the south is $56. I assume the South
is better? They are bringing their son who just turned 21. Does Vegas Club
have any suites?

Thanks,
Joe J.

Well, sort of. Most of the rooms at the corners are upgraded 'suite rooms'
with a couch, etc. In the past two years the difference in my opinion
between the North and South tower other than being a bit closer to the
casino is very slight. Since the Dugout was closed and the Great Moments
Room being converted into a coffee shop from a fine restaurant, the LVC has
become less of a fancy hotel than it never was in the first place.

Nothing special, but nothing bad either. The "suites" (if you can call them
that) are bigger, but nothing worth paying extra.

Actually it's the North Tower rooms that are more spacious. Maybe you
got the prices reversed, or else their computer system is on the fritz
again.

Furnishings in either tower are not fancy and somewhat worn, but clean
and okay for the money.

Try Hotels.com right now for a better VC rate that can still be
cancelled within a few days of arrival.

Thanks Walt,

Yes I did get them reversed. They ended up booking through Hotel.com and
got 2 deluxe rooms in the North Tower for $412 total. $10 more than 2
standard rooms using VC on-line. Not sure what the difference is between
the rooms.
