Rising prices

As most of you know I'm going to Vegas for a weekend (Fri.-Mon.) in
Oct. I booked my room at Bills for $399.95 and have been watching the
rates fluctuate and finally rebooking for $340, well I just cheked
tonight and the rates are $500!!!! Are they nuts? This Bill's the old
Barbary Coast. I can't wait to see how high it will go, too bad I
can't sell my res. on ebay.

Well there is the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction one weekend, the
World Series the next weekend and Halloween the weekend after that, so
a lot of people will be comming into town those weekends.

It depends on when you are going. Labor Day weekend prices are going
down, not up. I'm paying $200 for a 4 day stay at the Gold Coast (Wed-
Sat), with a gas card for $75 as a rebate, and I've seen it come down
to about $185.

Nope they added a third auction this year. 1st year in Vegas. They are
still holding the Arizona auction in Jan.

Just checked again this evening and it is now up to $540. Guess the
house will be full.
