Hey BR, you moving to Vegas also?? You'll need NFL Ticket to see all those
Jets games.

There is no soil in Vegas, only an alkaline hardpan caliche which is almost
completely sterile.

You can grow vegetables, you just have to do it in raised beds or pots with
store bought soil. I suppose you could add soil to the Vegas sterile dirt
but I never tried that with a vegetable garden. My lawns and other
non-xeriscape areas of the yard were massively augmented with store bought
soil, and that's a lot of work, so I went with pots for my veggies.

You can have tomatoes most of the year since its so warm, but you have to
water every day or whatever you're trying to grow will die very quickly.

I wish. By the time I get to Vegas I won't be a Jets fan. Just got to add
ammo in convincing the Mrs. Vegas would be a great place to retire/live.
I'm sure the clothes dry quickly on the line in Vegas so we can leave or
clothes dryer, and if we can go tomatoes year round, that's another plus.
I just want to be the dr. Baf of the next decade.

Watch out where you move to. Some of these places don't let you hang out
clothes to dry. Violates the HOA rules.
