Default Eastside Cannery

Drove past the Eastside Cannery tonight and it's all
lit up for the opening on August 28th.

Horizontal neon lights ring each floor and change color
several times a minute. Almost looks like a junior Rio,
except horizonal lighting compared to the Rio's vertical.

I got home from Phoenix around 1 am and stopped of at Arizona Charlies for
ham and eggs. Decided to take a look at Eastside Cannery first. Baf is
correct as it does look like a Jr Rio. It is just about ready other than
some landscaping still to come.

Lots of people were also stopping and doing a pre tour of it at 1 am. We
almost dared trying to go in, but security is doing a good job.

There will be no 'soft' opening as I am told, but the usual gambling with
fake money should begin on 8/24.

Default Eastside Cannery

I guess with a quiet Labor Day weekend coming up, I will check out Eastside
Cannery and then head over to Sunset Station to see Yellow Brick Road
tonight.

Report coming.
