That would be the PokerPRO tables. They've been around for a little while
now.

Excalibur is closing its poker room on August 18th and will reopen it on
August 21st with all PokerPRO tables.

With faster play, it sounds like there's not much time for casual
chatting and banter between players. Is there much of that, or does
everyone mostly concentrate on the cards?

I was told it was like playing poker on line but the other players are
sitting at the table. There must be a monitor or something to see that
the rules are enforced..... ie... only speaking in english. Tom in Ct

I don't like the sound of this. I only get to play live poker in LV. I
can play on my computer at home in much more comfort. Also, I don't want
FAST poker. I want a relaxed, social game. Scratching Excalibur off my
list, since they don't offer anything I want to play.
I also like to feel the chips and the cards.

I suspect I won't much like electronic poker for the same reasons.
I'll have to try it and see.

It may end up co-existing with hand-dealt poker, perhaps for the
low-limit games. Some online players and newbies may prefer it. But I
can't imagine the professionals and higher-limit players giving up
traditional poker, and without their imprimatur, electronic poker will
have a hard time finding wide acceptance.

We'll be out there in a couple of weeks and I thought about trying it,
but there's a lot of REAL poker rooms close by. Think I'll save my money
for MGM and Orleans.
