hotel vs expedia - booking direct does make a difference

look before you leap
when your making a purchase be sure to read the rules and restriction,
know your cancellation policy before entering you credit card hotels
enfore the same rules as expedia
why would you call the hotel you spent your money on expedia call
expedia
sometimes expedia only buys certain rooms like king suits and jr queen
suites because the hotel is selling the standard room for too little
and their is no profit to be made meaning the expedia site will not
advertise the the standard room
however hotels.com an affiliate of expedia inc. has the same rates as
expedia and price matches
check back with expedia from time to time because policies change
maybe expedia will implement a price match guarantee
for a package deal like a flight and hotel use expedia because the
package rate is dirt cheep in comparison to booking the flight and
hotel separate
I use it all the time and I have saved thousands

That's why it often pays to cross-check any hotel room rate found on any major travel site back against the hotel chain's site.
