Default Western safer than Bellagio

Have you ever noticed those small blinking
red & blue lights high up on the pole
at 15th and Fremont?

Those are police cameras monitoring the area
for crime. They have justed installed more of
these at 8th and Fremont streets. The southwest
corner next to the Westerns parking lot.

Vegas is safe now!

I feel much less safe knowing that the eyes of Big Brother are opening
in more and more locations.

The only limitation of video surveillance is the number of eyes
available to watch. The fear of big brother is rather interesting -
how many millions of sets of eyes & ears would it take to watch
everyone all the time? 1/2 the population watching the other 1/2?
And who would watch the watchers?? Paranoia only applies to those
people WE are watching. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean
we're not after you!!

As far as your wallet is concerned, the BJ at the Western is a whole
lot safer than that at the Bellagio.
