I realize that the OP is being facetious, however, I still have a
sewing kit in my shaving kit from 1973 Ceasars palace trip. I carry it
for luck. I suppose the best amenities I have received in Vegas is at
Bellagio. They have a free sleeve of golf balls in the
suites...........:)

There have been too many times when I've checked into a hotel, did not
want to be disturbed, but found the sign missing, so I've kind of kept
a few over the years, the most generic ones I came across, and keep
them in my suitcase. :)

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm contributing to the problem, but ... :)
