Default It's a good thing my rooms are comped...

Because chances are I may be more broke than a china teacup falling on
a concrete floor come Soiree time. On my way to work today my car
konked out on my. Fuel pump went out...again. It seems to go out
every 18 or 20 months. What's up with that?

Anyhoo, hopefully it shouldnt't be more than $200 (fingers crossed).
Still, that's $200 away from my Las Vegas money. I'll just take it
easy on my first couple days of my trip. No problem...right?

SOB!

Cam get yourself a Toyota and end up having repairs. If you are
a little short come a day early and I'll give you a pocket full
of matchplays.

Are you by any chance, one of these cheapskates that runs their fuel so low,
the "low level" light comes on?
If so, big mistake. If you fuel pump is in the fuel tank, it depends on the
gasoline to keep it cool. Gasoline too low equals fuel pump exposed to the
air and it overheats.
My daughter discovered this and it cost her $700+ to have the pump and
sending unit replaced on her car.

No problem Cam, my mother has a nice 1967 Dodge Corronett 440 that she
wants to sell. It has no AC so you might want to drive it to Vegas only
in the Winter. This car is a classic antiqe and is the car I drove on
hot dates in high school. She might let you have it for about 25,000.
BTW, you have to add a lead additive to the gas because this car was not
made to run on unleaded gas.
