"Kamikaze" Vegas Trips??

The first time I made a Kamikaze-style Vegas trip was when I got married
there in 1972 and the last was for Comdex in 1991. That year, a coworker
and I wanted to visit Comdex, but we only wanted to go for a single day.
After working all day and sleeping for less than two hours, at about 2:00 AM
on a Friday, I picked him up at his place in Huntington Beach. Off to Vegas
we went and I drove. We stopped for breakfast in Barstow and arrived in
Vegas at 7:30 AM, then spent the day at Comdex. When the show closed we
went to Caesars. We had their buffet for dinner, watched two Imax films and
played in the casino for a few hours.

We left Vegas at some point after midnight and although he offered, I drove
back. I dropped him off at his place and didn't get home until 6:30 AM. I
slept for more than a dozen hours and was still exhausted. Never again!

Anyone else here have a story about a Kamikaze-style Vegas trip?

Yes, that's right! Thomas will be riding while Matt is flying.......on
energy drinks.

Heck, if I did a Donna type kamikaze trip they would probably send me
home in a box. The first day in Vegas from the east coast, means bedtime

Back in the day, we used to make a lot of road trips to California
from New Mexico and detour through Las Vegas for just a couple of
hours, primarily for Caesars champagne brunch in Circus Maximus.
