Great trip reports but here is one item I wish you had pursued further. Is
the CPK the one in Mirage or Fashion Show Mall? Since you are allergic and
stated this to the waiter and he made an inappropriate comment about it I
would have requested to contact the manager immediately. I also have a food
allergy that is serious. If I was ever treated the way you were treated,
the manager would be immediately notified. His attitude is not showing the
best interest of his customers.

A long time ago I had an issue with a line chef in the old Maxim casino's
breakfast buffet. Told him about allergy and he either intentionally or
mistakenly put the "allergy" food in my omelet. Saw it, had him redo it
after readdressing the allergy issue. Next time it was hidden inside the
egg. Had it redone again and again the allergy producing item was inside the
egg. Called the manager over to the table, explained the situation and he
immediately refunded the whole table's cost and also removed the person
responsible from the kitchen (fired him on the spot.)

No allergy is something to fool around with since it may mean your life.

This was at Fashion Show Mall.

You're right-- I should have asked for the manager. I normally would have.
I think I was too mellowed out from being on Vacation!
