Default Texas Station

My husband will be in Vegas one night without me before the start of our
fall trip. He has a reservation at Texas Station. He just needs a clean,
safe place to sleep as he will be getting in late and leaving early the next
morning. Any problems with Texas Station he should be aware of?

Thanks!

Margaret

There are no problems with Texas Station. It is in North Las Vegas and
considered a "locals" casino.
If your husband knows his way around the Vegas area and has a car, there
should be no problems.

The best way to "thank" a bartender is to not stiff them.
The best way to stiff a bartender is simply say "thanks."

That is where my wife and I do most of our gambling while in town. I like
the place. If he plays the dealers and pit bosses at night are good and have
some personality unlike the robots on the strip.

it's not at all hard to get to (15N to 95N) --- there's a steak joint
there, Austin's, that is exceptional.

Restaurant.com sells dining certificates for Austin's (although they're
currently sold out til the first of the month).

No problem with the hotel/casino, just stay warn him to stay on
the 95 and then Rancho to get to Texas Station.
This is particularly important since he will be arriving late. The
neighborhoods to the east of the hotel are a high crime area.
