| | Guest | Atlanta air traveler with TB. By now you have all heard about the Atlanta air traveler that got a rare
form of TB and had to sneak back in the country througth Canada and rent
a car because the goverment put him on the no fly list. People that were
on the planes the he flew on are mad at him. This guy is a University of
GA graduate just like Andrew in Alabama is. He is also a lawer just like
Andrew is so Andrew probably knows him. I think the people critisizeing
him just don't like any UGA graduates. BTW, the guy is at a Denver
hospital now so maybe he can get out in time to make it to Vegas for the
Soirre.

When I read the article about this man flying on airplanes WITH TB, AFTER
being told NOT TO, something told me that this yo-yo had to be a lawyer. I
was RIGHT.
SOME lawyers have the attitude, that they are going to do EXACTLY what they
WANT to do and screw everyone else.
They say, if anyone else comes down with TB, this guy can be sued. I
certainly hope so.

If he gave it to anyone, yes. Otherwise, it would be a rather
interesting case for severe distress or something similar.

According to what I have seen, the CDC did get in touch with the
Italian authorities while he was still over there. Don't what if
anything they did. I am not sure if you really want to put everyone with
TB on an international no-fly list like that.

I understand the Italians were notified. You have to remember that
he got "upgraded" to XRTB while he was already in Italy. I am not
exactly sure when he was placed on a no-fly list, it is sorta murky.
Also he took off for Canada from Prague. I am not sure about the
logistics (and given health privacy regs the legality) and putting out a
general alert. | |

Big assumption on the felony, don't see it unless they can find
someone he infected, no harm no foul. Felony conviction would probably
make the license go bye bye.

Let's see .... he comes in through Canada. Some of the 9-11 terrorists came
in through Canada. A few months back there was a reported terrorist plot
broken up in Canada. So, in the name of homeland security, let's put up
that big fence on the border with Mexico. Makes perfect sense to me.
