Despite a valiant effort, it appears that airfare the weekend of the
soreii is out of range for me and mine. I have communicated my wishes
to several of my friends here, and am making a statement now that it
doesn't seem to be happening. Sorry.

just kidding, I hope you have Ding downloaded and check it daily for
specials. I'm still in searching mode for our airfares (we're going to Reno
the weekend before). As it stands now, the Mrs. & I will be using SWA rapid
rewards. I'd like to use AirTRan to get home from Vegas...if I don't have
to drive. (If you'd like to just buy a one way, you can ride back with
me...SA is not too far out of my way)

I'm not sure what's going on with airfares. I was going to book a
flight from Portland to Atlanta for 6/15-6/18 and tickets were over
$500 round trip. Needless to say, I guess I won't be stopping by for
my free Whopper!

Gee Tom, that's bad news indeed.

You might try getting a loan from Cliffy, or ask one of your former
hosts if they will reimburse your airfare.
