Got to Nassau last Sat and made it an early night, up about 2k. Sunday
night I was out of control. When CWs get green chips for tips, they
stand in line waiting. Made so many good tips for the dealer that she
started to cry!! Dealers in the Bahamas are a bit different than
Vegas.Hit a lot of big bets and still dropped about 5k.
On Monday morning a CW, that I know, stopped to say hello, and said she
heard I was in the casino the night before and there were arguments
among them, who was supposed to be working the tables I played .
On Tuesday afternoon I was walking into the Casino and another Cw I
know, Avis, was leaving, she said she was off Weds and would G and I
like to go to lunch? I said "sure". Avis picked us up in front of the
hotel and we went to a very Bahamian restaurant, had a nice meal and
when the time came she grabbed the check and said she invited us to
lunch, and she was paying the bill. I said ok but tomorrow in the casino
make sure you bring me a drink. She said, fine.
Wednesday night I was down 5k for the trip, took out a thousand marker
to see what would happen. Didn't get to the room until after 1am. Got
straight flushes and other good hands at three card poker. Played black
chips on roulette with green chips for the dealers, a couple of $900.
and down for the boys. Paid off 6k in markers and they gave me 4500 in
cash. Thursday we saw Avis in the casino and she brought me a $200
Heineken. At the airport I was looking at a t shirt for my future
Granddaughter, when I didn't my it, G asked why? I said it was $26 for a
piece of cloth the size of a wash cloth, she said "you just tipped a CW
$200". Needless to say I went back and brought the t shirt. Going to
take the $4500 and salt it away for the June 7 trip to Vegas. Tom in Ct

We missed you this week Newt!
Looking forward to seeing you again in June. How bout the four of us
checking out "The Rat Pack"? Maybe Mr. & Mrs. Elmer in Alabama will join
us.
Is it Kurt's Birthday yet?

Out of curiosity, Tom, do you include those big tips in establishing
whether you're up or down for the trip ?

| | Guest | Bahamas Gambling Thomas asked, how I determine being up or down for a trip. The only
thing that matters is how much cash I went with and how much cash is in
my pocket when I get home. This trip +4500. Everything else is just the
cost of having a good time. The 1800sf suite would have cost 1k a night
but that doesn't get added to the win. The RFB limo and all the extras
cost $49.00 because of tax. The tips do seem matter to the casino
because everytime a $900 hit was made for a dealer the pit person wrote
something on the rate card, so I believe they take it into
consideration. Tom in Ct

I got to thinkin' about it Tom, and I thought that $7 Heineken at the Fab 4
was expensive.
