Opinions of Main Street Station

Hi all - I am planning a vacation to Las Vegas in July (we go every
year). We've stayed at Ballys, Boardwalk (before demolition) and
Venetian. This year, we've decided to stay Downtown. Our first
thought was to stay at the Golden Nugget. But since it's a good $30
more per night than every other downtown hotel, we are looking to save
some money. I've heard good things about the Main Street Station but
I thought I'd try out here to see what you all have to say.

I'd appreciate any information or insight you can give.

Fine hotel, good casino. My only complaint is they don't have a
racebook.

Plaze Race book is a short walk away and is decent.
