Tom, I see your point. She could buy the food and give it to him and leave.
I wouldn't give $$$ but will supply food ocasionally.
This reminded me of another time when I was on a trip with a bowling team.
One of the guys ladies was always hanging around us when we were eating but
only had coffee or bits of our food. I found out her husband kept all the
money. She didn't want to speak up because she worshipped him for rescuing
her from her past abuses.
Anyway we fed her too.
I will also trade food for work. Cut me a cord of wood, paint a fence, give
me value for my food, and I will buy the meal.
