Default Las Vegas Hotel Dinner Reservations

My wife loves Bobby Flay and since we are going to Las Vegas soon I
promised her dinner at Bobby's Mesa Grill at Caesars'.

I was shocked today when I called to make a reservation that they wanted
to know what hotel we were at, and then, required a credit card to insure
the reservation, and finally advised that there is a $50 per person charge
if we fail to cancel by 3PM on the day we booked.

Is this the way of the Vegas world in 2006?

"Of course this will only work for a very short time, as Ace is only
days from being 6 feet under."

No, that's just a rumor.

In fact, he's just kicked off a viral marketing campaign for his "Ace
De Leon Fountain of Youth" elixir.

Clever scamp.

>Yeah, tell 'em Ace sent you - works like a charm.

>Thomas W.

Which one of the many dead and dying "Ace's" do I mention?

This is very common, and not just in Las Vegas. Restaurants like that
tend to have a high no-show rate when they just trust people to abide by
their reservations without securing them with a credit card.
