Default GVR drops again

GVR has changed its crab leg selection at the buffet from Dungeness to snow
crab(?). What used to be a premier menu item is now equivalent to the Fiesta
Buffet champagne brunch crab entree.

When I was there the last time, the staff was receiving complaints from
customers that the crab legs "have no meat in them". Staff just sort of
shrugged since they have no control over the food selection. They just get
the complaints as things become less attractive. As a guess, I assume
Station Casinos are making food selections across the entire chain
homogeneous to save $$$.
This follows the pattern of making the complementary gifts (that use to
distinguish GVR) homogeneous across the chain...

Is it possible that you have reversed the types of crab
offered? Gloria and I were at Fiesta Henderson a few
Sundays back and enjoyed the Dungeness crabs. It's been a
couple years now, since Fiesta offered Snows.

The times we've had the buffet at GVR, the crab was Snow,
served both warm and chilled. Have they changed to
Dungeness? If so, I consider that to be a plus and not a
negative.

The only complaint I have about Fiesta's crabs is that they
put out too many too seldom. The larger legs are soon
picked over, leaving the smaller ones. New crab is added
every half hour or so to the pile. At GVR, the last time we
had the seafood buffet, the Snow crab was placed in small
piles and attended frequently, this meant that the buffet
patrons was almost required to take both the large and small
pieces before more was placed out.
