Default George Carlin plays the Stardust

From the local newspaper:

"George Carlin's comedy is dark -- too dark, in the opinion of
officials who cut ties with him at the MGM Grand last year.
It is also about "delicate subjects some people can't handle," as a
sign in front of the showroom warns people."

Can anyone comment on what "delicate subjects" he deals with?

Default George Carlin plays the Stardust

"Washed up, has been, no longer funny. "

Actualy, I saw him with a packed house at the Stardust in May and I
thought he was very funny. Sure he uses a lot of cuss words and he has
a cynical attitude on the human condition (and frankly if you have'nt
been living under a rock for the past coupla years how can you NOT feel
that way?) but IMO he' still the most relevant comic working today in
the tradition of Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor.
