often these days.

Well, Bill, I'd say that a blessing is when something good happens to you,
or to anyone you love and/or care about.

One dictionary definition I especially like is this: A means of happiness;
that which promotes prosperity and welfare; a beneficent gift.

Roz and I feel that among the greatest blessings we have are the friendships
we share with many wonderful people. In fact, I have often quoted the words
of Oliver Wendell Holmes in that regard:

"Fame is the scentless sunflower,
With gaudy crown of gold,
But friendship is the breathing rose,
With sweets in every fold."
