Main Street Station

We are contemplating staying there this April. We checked it out during one
of our last trips, and it seemed pretty nice overall...

Somewhat out-of-the-way location. Table games aren't very good. It's
popular with slot machine players.

Buddy and went there for a few hours playing quarter video poker at the bar.
Great service imo. Had eaten breakfast on arrival, thought food was
excellent. Manuel ? makes a great omelette

Host came by to say hello and comped us to the Pullman Grill steakhouse that
nite We enjoyed another great meal that would have been happy with if even
we paid the bill.

Did not get a chance to check out rooms so would like others opinions on
accomodations ?

Also since we are both really dice players what are their odds and vig
policy for buy bets ?

of the Berlin Wall in the men's rest room? I was actually standing at the
urinal when I first noticed it. My first thought was "Jeez, only in Vegas"...
then found myself rather moved, and now wish it was out in the lobby - or
basically, anyplace where it's not often getting splashed with urine.

Anyway, I'll be staying at MSS on 11/9 -11/12, and have been practicing my
video poker skills on WinPoker at home (hit 2 Royals in the last 3 months!). I
haven't been there in over a year. On my last trip, ticket payouts had not yet
been implemented. I've heard most machines use the tickets now. Is this true?

No, didn't see the wall this time around. I prefer the ticket in
ticket out machines too. The 9/6 machine I played still dumped out
coins but they have an automated coin changer you can use. I think
they are still changing over as some machines, like the dreaded wheel
of fortune were ticket payout.

Even this left-winger enjoys taking a good p-ss on the Berlin Wall at the
MSS. And is glad to see ol' Lenin headless at Mandalay Bay.
