Hello to you. I see that you are from the Philippines. I used to live in Japan and had several chances to visit the Philippines and loved the country and food. Hope to hear more from the Philippines in the forums.

Good for you. So, you taste the food. Specialty was adobo.. Have you taste it? A vacation trip with your family..?

I'm not familiar with adobo. There was a restaurant I used to go to in Manila that served all kinds of seafood and rice dishes. Went great with the San Miguel beer.

My trips to the Philippines were mainly escorting tours of about 20 American couples (50-70 years old) around Asia. We normally visited Manila and Baguio.

From Manila, we would have an optional tour going up to the Pagsanjan Falls. In the winter, we sometimes also visited a resort at Puerto Azul. This was back in the 1980s. It was also a very interesting time, politically. I would love to get back some day.
