Default International Tour Guide and Trainer

Educated as a Tour Manager in the United States, I spent the first part of my career travelling locally and internationally. During the travel boom in the 1990's I spent much of my time in western Canada or overseas in Portugal and Spain. My I learned how to provide real customer service, deal with complete jerks, and work with language barriers.

Training became my focus in 2000 after being hired by Canada’s largest inbound Tour Operator to train field staff. In 2004 I was named "Teacher of the Year" by George Brown College. I really believe in Guide Licensing and have been active in the city of Toronto and throughout Canada to implement this. I think there are just so many really poor guides out there.

I have a diploma in Teaching Adult Learners and conduct various courses in Toronto including Public Speaking, Customer Service, Conflict Resolution, Tour Guiding and Internet Marketing.

My guide students have gone forward to work throughout Canada, United States, Austria, Costa Rica and Australia.
