| | Guest | XM Wx Garmin 430/430W with Garmin GDL-69? I recently swapped my 430 for a 430W. Is anyone using XM weather from
a GDL-69 on either a 430 or 430W? How do you find it on that
[relatively] small display? What about getting METARs, for example -
is there too much button pushing, or not so bad? Would you make the
same purchase decision again or put the XM weather on different
device?
thanks,

So to select an airport and view a METAR is the procedure to go to the
METARs page, spin the dials the same way we enter waypoints? It must
be better than that, right? Cursor on the map page to an airport? I
guess the question is: If I'm interested in the METARs for several
airports near my intended destination how would I see them? | |

| | Guest | XM Wx Garmin 430/430W with Garmin GDL-69? You can push the small button to get a cursor, and then spin the dials so
the needle is on the airport of interest (flashes highlighted), and then
"enter" (I think). The metars will pop up on another page.
