Do you just have a fear of cows or do you know these to be aggressive?
I've hiked many trails that go through cow pastures. In fact, I prefer
them. I find a bovine presence to be relaxing and cool. I have yet to
see any agression. Sometimes they are shy or apprehensive. However, the
cows I encounter are probably very acclimated to humans being among
them. These trails are mainly on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the mountains
of Virginia and North Carolina.
