We've done Kona from Sept. until Feb., and it's been mostly dry all
of the
time. Rain is infrequent. Yes, Winter may be officially in place, but
that's
like saying that Summer has ended in Phoenix, when Fall officially
begins -
yeah, tell that to my thermometer.
However, one Nov., we were in Hilo for 10 days, expecting rain all of
the
time. Heck, they were rationing water and it was clear the entire
time. We
went to Kona, and on our first day of golf, it rained! Go figure.
I think you are safe from a "rainy season" in the Kona District all year
round. OK, a tiny shower may catch you between the #7 green and the
#8 tee,
but it'll be brief and really kinda' fun. Now, I cannot promise you
the great
sunshine that we had, should you go to Hilo, at that time of the
year, but who
knows?
