Default Can you hear me now? (Aloha Airlines)

Is there some trick to speaking to a human at Aloha Airlines....?

I want to speak to someone who has knowledge of the Birthday Coupon
special they had. The only access you can gain to ALoha is to book a
flight. I need answers to double billing etc., and can't find a phone
number that garners a human voice. Even some of the secutiy exchange
sites provide bad numbers that end up being obnoxious fax numbers etc....

Any clues?

First of all I hate the computer menus. They waste my time and
sincerely annoy me. I have learned to either press the "O" when it is
available--some of us don't have touch tone phones <g>, I guess, or I
ask for "Agent" or "Rep" on those that "understand what you are
saying".

I feel that I am not obligated to be a sheep following the flock
despite the directions to do so. I have saved myself lots of time and
an equal amount of frustration deciding this path.

Just my $.02

Awhile back, we had a thread about the frustrating and annoying
practice by mainland purveyors, of slapping "additional shipping"
charges to mail orders to Hawai`i.

I refuse to make purchases from suppliers (online/catalog) who
do this -- and when it's an online supplier, I email a nice note
to their customer service folks, loudly complaining.

Amazingly, I got a phone call from one -- to whom I'd ranted when
they slapped an additional $10 postage to AK/HI customers -- telling
me they had changed that policy a month earlier (!). The lady who
called thanked me for advising them that their website did not
reflect the change (!!), and inviting me back to their site.
(sorry, but I'm not gonna plug 'em by posting the name...)

So yes, folks, sometimes those email complaints _do_ get read! <g>
