Default Visiting Kauai for 1 day

Hi, I live in Sydney, Australia, and on my way home from an
up'n'coming trip to the US, I'm stopping off in Honolulu & Kauai. I'm
only in Kauai for 2 nights and a day... I have always dreamed about
going to Hawaii so I really want my experience to be unforgettable. If
I had to choose THE most perfect spot on the island that would offer
me the classic blue lagoon surrounded by green mountains, where would
that be? Just to throw in a spanner... Funds are limited, not dire
mind you, but I'm not a Rockerfeller either!
Thanks for any help, it's very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Paul

PS. I'll be in Hawaii early December 2003

That is the perfect description of Ke`e Beach -- at the end of the road
on the north shore. No bus service, so you'll need to rent a car. Come
early, and plan to spend the entire day...it is magnificent!
