Default little white eggs

here's a newbie question...

while cleaning the workings of some blinds, we found behind the
valence what first looked to be a set of teflon ball bearings. they
were maybe 5mm in diameter and quite round, spaced out in a regular
long line.

one fell to the floor though, and the results reminded me of when i
had once dropped a fertilized chicken egg.

i'm guessing that we found a clutch of gecko eggs. do they look like
this?

Yup. If you look, you'll find them behind switchplates, in the hollow
handles of mops, way in the back of cabinets you never open. They really
hide those eggs well.

Oh yes...we decided to upgrade alllllll our windows with vinyl ones,
and omigawd the gecko eggs in the old window frames!! Hundreds
of 'em, tucked in every crack 'n crevice. Sure hope the guys who
installed our new windows, did a real good job of caulking! <g>
