Kefalonia to Corfu How?
I wish to have about a week on Kefalonia and a week on Corfu. (June
next year) I have been trying to find, wihthout success how to travel
between the two islands. (travel could be in either direction)
If anyone can let me know what options are available I would be very
grateful?
Also if there is a simple option for getting to Croatia from either
Corfu or Kefalonia?
Thanks

Island hopping between the Ionian islands has always been difficult, or next
to impossible. There are no ferries that regularly go directly between the
islands. Unless things have changed recently the only way I can see to do it
would be to wait for one of the daily ferries that come from Italy and call
at Corfu on the way to Patras. From Patras there are daily ferries to
Kefalonia.
It might take more than a day though.

There is a daily ferry service from Fiskardo on Kefalonia to Vassiliki
on Lefkas. Lefkas is connected to the mainland by a causeway and there
is a daily bus service from Lefkas to Igoumenitsa. Ferries run from
Igoumenitsa to Corfu. Again, it could take a very large part of a day!
I did this journey in 2004 but things might have changed since then.
